I am an Iowa girl who grew up moving. I am fluent in speaking Spanish, drinking coffee, and making friends wherever I go. I adore being an aunt to my seven nephews and three nieces. I am equal parts introvert and extrovert. And I deeply love the written word.
For me, words are a way to preach truth to myself. Sometimes we need reminders of the beauty and joy in life, and other times we need a space to question and grieve. My blog is a simple reflection of the both ands in life, the joys and the sorrows.
